Jeff Coolidge's photo studio
Jeff Coolidge's photo studio is located in a barn attached to his home, where he makes his living producing stock photography or shooting people, places and products for advertising and marketing clients. The owner of Coolidge Studio and a professional photographer since 1979, Jeff is an expert in both conventional and digital photography. So he is frequently found retouching digital images on his Mac workstation. And when tight deadlines have him climbing the walls, he literally starts scaling the 50' x 30' studio's built-in rock-climbing wall to relax.
Maintaining a photo studio requires a lot of workspace organization. He has to store equipment, lenses, film, poster-size contact sheets, large static files… all the tools of the trade and then some. By the very nature of his craft, the studio has to stay clean and look good. What's more, Jeff may have multiple assignments in the works at any one time in the studio, so he – and his gear – have to be mobile. Lista products totally fit the picture.
Looks that last.
"As a visually-oriented person, I like things that look good," says Jeff. "I've always been struck by the overall quality of Lista's products – their durability, mobility and beauty."
Jeff uses Lista drawer storage cabinets to hold large, flat-file materials, and mobile drawer storage cabinets to store tools and equipment. A mobile Nexus trolley supports photo gear such as clamps and stands, while a Lista mobile workbench lets Jeff transport his computer workstation and scanner wherever it's needed on the floor.
Lista products also convey the quality impression Jeff insists on. "Aesthetics are important in a photo studio," he says. "You're being hired to make things look as good as possible. The cool thing about Lista products is that they're designed so simply and functionally, and they're so well made – form meets function. And the beauty lasts – Lista products don't age, the lines are classic, the finish is durable and they're easy to clean."
